Supports immune function. Supports immunoglobulin production and is anti bacterial and anti viral. Use regularly to support immune system or at the first sign of a cold or flu to support immune system. Very effective when diffused overnight. Can be applied by placing 1 or 2 drops in palm of one hand, rub palms together, cup over nose and inhale for 3 minutes. Apply residue to chest or throat following by a couple of drops of carrier oil. If irritation occurs, apply more carrier oil. Do not expose treated skin to direct sunlight for 12 hours after application as lemon essential oil causes photosensitivity and wlll cause a rash.

May apply a drop or two to handkerchief/kleenex and inhale – great for travel or being around large groups of people during cold season. Works very well by diffusing, or can inhale after applying 1-2 drops in hand followed by 1 ir 2 drops of carrier oil, rubbing hands together and placing hands over nose and inhale for 3 minutes. May place 2-4 drops in bowl of hot water and inhale vapor with towel over your head, EYES CLOSED TO PREVENT EYE IRRITATION. May use as a chest rub by using 3-5 drops per tablespoon of carrier oil for adults; 1 drop per tablespoon of carrier oil for children over 5 years old. If skin irritation occurs, apply more carrier oil.
